Lynn Traylor is an interdisciplinary Navajo fashion artist. A member of the Diné (Navajo) Nation, she is Hastłishnii born for Tááchiinii, her Cheiis’ are Tłaaschií and her Nalí is Tłaaschií. She is originally from Black House Mesa, New Mexico and resides in the Phoenix area.

Known for her detail and intricate patterns on contemporary fashion garments. Traylor explores themes of traditional storytelling, feminine energy, masculine energy, resilience, loss and love- the complexities of historic and contemporary Indigenous experiences-across beading, hat millinery, fashion, and installation.

Traylor’s beadwork and bespoke hat pieces have been exhibited and featured at the renowned Santa Fe Indian Market, Heard Guild, Navajo Nation Fair magazine, Native Art Magazine, Indian Country Today, and Shoutout AZ. She has been featured on the runway with Kayla Lookinghorse, Winston Paul, a guest designer during the Phoenix Indie Film Fest and The Original Landlords. Traylor was a guest on Those Damn Uncles podcast and on Isabelle Rose Designs Instagram channel advocating for the arts, youth involvement and expression, and generational craftsmanship in traditional & contemporary artisan techniques.

Each piece Traylor is created with Hozhó thoughts and good intentions sending out positive and energy. “Creating timeless art” encourages wearable art for ALL people to wear and purchase. After each piece is created it is blessed with cedar sending good blessings to those who wear.
